On January 12, 2010 Haiti was hit by a major earthquake.
At the time of this update the full extent of this disaster are not known, but there has been a massive loss of life and huge damage to Haiti’s infrastructure. Aid agencies are doing all they can under the circumstances, and any assistance – financial or otherwise – you can offer organizations such as the Red Cross will be a great help.
